Happy 5th Anniversary, Hong Kong Disneyland! :-)

HONG KONG DISNEYLAND
Hong Kong Disneyland, which is located on Lantau Island, is a theme park assimilating the features of Disneyland Park in California and others.
 It includes five themed parks, each packed with thrills and spills to enthrall tourists.
Apart from these five areas, two new areas will be added by 2014, including Grizzly Trail and Mystic Point.


Each day, Hong Kong Disneyland has "Disney on Parade" and "Disney in Stars", which is a fireworks show.
At major festivals, like Chinese New Year, Halloween and Christmas, the park is said to hold many special activities.

5 years ago, Disneyland officially opened in Hong Kong!

This meant a lot to us Filipinos because we don't have to go all the way to the U.S. anymore to experience the magical world of Disneyland.

Hong Kong is just 2 hours away from the Philippines and this meant, more happy trips for kids and...well, also for the "kids-at-heart" like many of us ~ like me!

(chuckle, chuckle) ☺

Abuzz in Hong Kong Disneyland:
 The all-new Toy Story Land.
                  

The first new themed area of Hong Kong Disneyland's resort expansion project is the Toy Story Land

 (which was inspired by the global hit Toy Story movies).

Disneyland Hong Kong ~ it's a wonderful place!

Adventureland

Compared to other Disneylands, it is fairly small, but one can still have a really nice day trip and even stay for the fireworks every 9p.m. at night.

A good idea, too, to stay in 1 of the 2 Disneyland hotels, especially if you have children who might get really tired by the end of the day.

Free guidebooks are available at the entrance ~ it will help visitors find their way around and plan their visit.

Disneyland has 5 Disney worlds with activities for all ages:

Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, Adventureland, Mainstreet and Toy Story Land.

There is also 1 area in Tomorrowland where the children can run around under small spray fountains.
(Just be sure to bring extra clothes!)

At Disneyland Hong Kong, the food is of good quality.

Surprisingly, there are no "unhealthy fastfood stuff" like hamburgers and hotdogs ~ just good quality Asian food and healthy snacks!! ☺

The fireworks in the evening are really magical and will give you a "feel-good" vibe which stays with you for a long time. ☺
