"PHO 2000 For The President" ~ the noodle soup restaurant that (in my opinion) serves the best pho in Saigon! :-)

This  PHO 2000 noodle restaurant branch we went to is located right across the  Ben Thanh Market  in  District 1.

This resto was made famous by the fact that  former US Pres.Bill Clinton  dined here during a visit in year 2000.

We 'shopped till we dropped' at  Ben Thanh (LOL) and had a late lunch here 

~ perfect choice. ☺

Seafood Noodle Soup

A flavorful tomato-based noodle soup composed of tofu, fish, shrimps, squid, and vegetables.

Absolutely loved this!

The seafoods were tender, the herbs were fragrant & fresh, and the big, chunky vegetables cooked to perfection.

All in all, the sweet and tart flavor of the soup was exceptional! ☺

Framed pictures of  former U.S.President Bill Clinton  were prominently displayed on the restaurant's walls.

For me,
 the food and the service are the most important factors of any dining experience. 

And at  PHO 2000 , the service was great.

When you arrive,
 their resto staff immediately assists you in finding a table...then you order...and your food order arrives in a jiffy.

Going to  PHO 2000  was really worth the visit!! ☺
