Lunch at BonChon Chicken in Greenbelt :-)

Hubby and I are not so keen on eating fried foods because of health reasons
but due to my bestfriend  Maureen  and my friend  Bettina  (Guest Services Manager of New World Hotel-Makati)'s "nagging" (kidding, LOL!),
we finally went to  BonChon Chicken  for lunch.
These are what we ordered:

Ceasar Salad

ChapChae
(Korean Glass Noodles)

Chap Chae  (pronounced "chop chay")  is a classic Korean dish.
It is served with or without meat.
It is one of my favorite Korean foods.
I especially love the thin glass noodles, the warm & crispy veggies, and the perfect sauce.
(It's the Koreans' version of our very own "Pancit"!)
I discovered  Chop Chae  years ago when I first ate at a Korean restaurant.

BonChon Original Chicken
*Chicken Combo: combination of Chicken Wings and Drumsticks
(*The chicken comes in two flavors: soy garlic and hot & spicy.)

BonChon Chicken  is fast becoming popular in the Philippines.
I heard that the Korean franchise was a hit when it first opened its flagship store in the country almost two years ago.
When we went to  BonChon Chicken (Greenbelt),
yuppies and chicken-loving foodies were standing in line at an already jam-packed restaurant for a taste of the famous fried chicken cooked Korean-style!!

In the U.S.,  BonChon Chicken  has been called "the best chicken in America" and has been described as "really addictive".

The chicken comes in two flavors: soy garlic and hot & spicy.
Ordered  soy garlic.
We enjoyed the chicken and found it moist & flavorful.
(*However, there's a certain 'sweetness' in the taste,
and hubby & I found it rather odd, hmm.)
But the crispy chicken skin ~ wow, man, it's 'magical'! ♥

Dessert:
Ko-Yo (Korean Yogurt)
Banoffee Pie (flavor)
