LIFE...
Sometimes people come into our life and we know right away that they were meant to be there,
to serve some sort of purpose,
to teach us a lesson
or to help us figure out who we are,
or who we want to become.
We never know who these people may be,
possibly our spouse, neighbor, co-worker, long-lost friend, lover, or even a complete stranger,
but when we lock eyes with them,
we know at that very moment they will affect our life in some profound way.
Sometimes in life, things may happen to us that seem horrible, painful, and unfair,
but in reflection, we find that without overcoming those obstacles, we would have never realized our potential, strength, willpower, or heart.
"If we want a rainbow, we have to put up with the rain."
Everything happens for a reason,
nothing by chance or by means of luck,
it happens because it is meant to be.
Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness, and sheer stupidity, all occur to test the limits of our soul.
Without these small tests,
whatever they may be,
life would be like a smoothly-paved straight, flat road leading to nowhere.
It would be safe and uncomf'table, yet dull and utterly pointless.
My Dad used to tell me this when he was alive ~
that the people we meet will affect our life...
they will be the success and downfalls we experience throughout life...
they are who will help us create the person we will grow to become...
that even the bad experiences can be learned from.
In fact, they are the most important experiences because,
"Failure teaches success."
If someone hurts us, betrays us, or breaks our heart,
it will be very hard (~I know that from experience!)
but let's forgive them, anyway
for they are the ones who will help us learn about trust and the importance of being cautious when we open our heart ~ how we must only give to the ones who are worthy of being loyal.
If someone loves us, let us love them back unconditionally,
not only because they love us,
but also because in a way they are teaching us about how to love, have trust and appreciate loyalty.
Let us give them that chance to give and receive what they deserve for and from us.
"Everything in life is temporary because everything changes,
that's why it takes great courage to love, knowing it might end anytime,
but having the faith that it will last forever."
Therefore, let's make every moment count.
Appreciate every moment and take from these moments everything we possibly can because that may be the only time in our life we will ever have that experience.
Let's meet new people we have never met before, talk to people we have never talked to before, and actually listen to what they have to say,
for it might teach us something valuable.
But let us always, always remember who our true friends are...for as one favorite quote goes:
"A true friend is someone who knows the song in your heart and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words." ♥
Let us live, love, and break free, make no boundaries, for we can accomplish anything as long as our heart is into it.
This is our life, we run the show!
Let us hold our head up because we have every right to.
Let us tell ourself we are a special individual and that there is nobody out there in the whole wide world who is exactly like us!
Let us believe in ourself, for it will be hard for others to believe in us if we ourselves don't!
We are in control and we can create the life we want, so let us take chances, and go out and live it with absolutely no regret.
"The only person we are destined to become is the person we decide to be."
Most importantly, if we love someone, let us tell that someone, for we never know what tomorrow will bring.
Let us not let one moment pass because it could change us forever.
And this advice is for all of us:
Don't ever fear life, because
"what doesn't kill you will only make you stronger."
Let us learn a valuable lesson in each day that we live.
"The rich person is not who has the most, but who needs the least."
Life is too short to take seriously, so let us remember to begin each day with a smile...☺
Everyone who walks through our door will make us happy,
some on the way in and some on the way out....
so let us always remember to leave the door to our heart open because we never know what may come our way.
Let us believe in Karma, because what goes around really does come around!!
