Rebirth of The Sulo
The Sulo Hotel, Quezon City's landmark hotel was re-launched last year.
Reinvented as The Sulo Riviera, it has undergone a major face lift of its facilities, turning it into a boutique hotel ~ small yet intimate and stylish.
There is an ambiance of casual elegance in a customary way.
We remember the many times our dear departed friend
(former Assemblyman) Atty.Wilson Gamboa Sr. used to bring us to Sulo Hotel for breakfast, snacks, or fine dining.
We remember him with fondness.
He was more than just a friend.
He was like family. ♥
Thank you to our friends Judge & Mrs.Emil and Marge Leachon and Atty.Ogie Mendoza for bringing us to Sulo Hotel again and for the sumptuous lunch we had. ☺
These flowing strands of the Balete tree (or "Lunok" in our native Ilonggo dialect)
hang at the entrance of the Sulo Hotel.
It filters the strong sunlight and creates an intriguing interplay of light and shadow near the driveway of the hotel.
I found it resplendent, a thing of beauty. ☺
