A Delicious Lunch At "Sir and Ma'am Restaurant" in Silay ♥

We had lunch at "Sir and Ma'am" restaurant in Silay.
This humble restaurant along the highway of Silay has established a reputation as "a place of flavorful food".

The dishes are served turo-turo style ala Aboy's.
You take a peek and just choose whatever dish you fancy.

This is "Valenciana".

This is one of their bestsellers: Lumpia Ubod sans the wrapper.
It's very good.
The 'ubod' is fresh and sweet.

This is their "Pangat" (or what the Tagalogs call "Laing").
Their version is superb~a nice blend of taro leaves, chili, and meat cooked with just the right amount of coconut milk.

This is "Paklay" ~ a delicious goat dish.

This is the delicious "Pork and Beans" version of
Sir and Ma'am ~ porky and thick with tomato sauce.
Beans are soft but not over-cooked
and the tomato sauce has the right blend of sweetness and sourness!!

They were selling this "Manapla puto" by the counter, along with other snacks and native kakanins.
I grabbed some to add to the foods we brought with us when we went up to Guerrero Farm & Nature Park.

We enjoyed our delicious lunch at Sir and Ma'am.
Clearly, the restaurant has become an institution of sorts in Silay.
It has become synonymous to good eating and personalized service.
