Modern and elegant, the 5-star Hotel Istana towers over Kuala Lumpur, a short 5-minute walk from the shopping areas and a 10-minute walk from the famous Petronas Towers.
This is our "second home" on our second night in Kuala Lumpur.
Our rooms are fully-air conditioned and have large windows overlooking the scenic cityscape of KL. ☺

The breakfast buffet at Taman Sari had a huge range of great-tasting food and the chefs cooked up our eggs as we ordered. ☺
For those with a sweet tooth! ☺
Cannot find fault in this hotel for its food!! ☺

There was in the sonket lounge the most amazing service i have ever come across in 20years of travelling, it was the highlight of our stay in K.L. and we REALLY enjoyed our visit there.
The location of the hotel is perfect for all types of visitors,5 mins walk from K.L tower 10mins walk from Petronas towers 5min walk from main shopping strip and taxis permanently outside hotel for trips elsewhere(batu caves zoo negara merdeka square recommended).
The drinks and food is not cheap but not overly expensive but there is a 7eleven across the road if you want cheap soft drinks and snacks for your room or lounge-pool area.
we would go visit Kuala Lumpur again and would stay in this wonderful hotel again.
It was an unforgettable holiday. Istana hotel was definitely a part of it.
