Lunch at my favorite VIA MARE ~ a great restaurant ♥

Oyster Bar, Via Mare, Greenbelt3

I frequent this branch of  Via Mare  whenever I come to Manila because of the comfortable ambiance and brilliant food.
Their food tastes fantastic, and they have very good seafood, too.
The oysters are deliciously prepared, but if you are not accustomed to the flavor of cold water oysters, you will probably prefer the oysters baked.

Lumpia Ubod
(Spring Roll of hearts of palm with pork and shrimps)

Oysters on half shell
(with cocktail sauce and lemon wedges)

Kare-Kare
(Ox tripe and ox tail in peanut-annatto sauce) served with bagoong alamang

Palitaw
(Poached rice patties with grated coconut and toasted sesame seeds)

Guinomis
(Sago, pinipig, gulaman at gata)

Via Mare  has always been one of my favorite restaurants.
It serves fine traditional Filipino food in an unpretentious setting.
It is a great restaurant for family, friends, and meetings.
