Bob's Strawberry Shortcake ~ another favorite dessert of mine ♥

We went to Bob's tonight and I was so happy to have this for dessert.
Aaahh...'simple joys'! ♥


Among Bob's wide array of desserts,
it’s their Strawberry Shortcake that always catches my attention
~ this, and their Chocolate Cake. ♥
The Strawberry Shortcake has a delicious sponge cake base,
and a wonderful mix of cream and real strawberries.
There are heapfuls of cream loaded in between layers of the cake.
Best of all, the balance of sweetness is excellent. ☺

This is a cake that, just by looking at it, feels like a sugar rush. When it comes to desserts, I’m more particular to fruit and cream based dishes.
the “Strawberry” part is more of a jam and syrup combination but the taste of the fruit is unmistakable. As a lover of cream, i can dig into this with reckless abandon.
