Nonito Donaire made short work of Jorge Arce,
knocking down the Mexican in the second round before finishing him off in the third with two knockdowns to retain his World Boxing Organization Super Bantamweight belt before a predominantly Mexican crowd at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.
(Pacman may have come home "beltless",
but we are proud of our very own Nonito Donaire,
who knocked-out Mexican fighter Jorge Arce!)

The Filipino Flash, Nonito Donaire again lived up to his name by knocking out the very game but outclassed Jorge Arce of Mexico at a fight held at the Toyota Center, home of the Houston Rockets.
Immediately after the knockout, Arce stated that he has reached the end of the line from boxing career and will retire from fighting.
Donaire knocked down Arce with his not-so-famous right hand (his left hook is a legend) in Round Two.
Although Arce beat the count and stood up to fight again, it was just a matter of time as to when the fight will end.
Fans at the arena however knew how it will end ~ ~ by knockout.
And they were right.
Indeed, in Round Three, with Arce obviously no longer as competitive on account of the knockdown in the second round, Donaire continued his onslaught until he finally dropped the game Mexican again.
But Arce again stood up only to be dropped again for the count with, you guessed it: a left hook.
Referee Lawrence Cole Jr. counted briefly but decided to wave off the fight with Arce laid out on his back at 2:59 of the round.
