Dear Heavenly Father,
Sometimes when we look at the world around us, we see little peace.
There is evil, sickness, tragedies and chaos.
But remind us in this Christmas season that the peace You have promised us is not found in circumstances or surroundings;
it is found in the heart that is right with You.
The peace You give is not so much around us as it is within us.
No matter what we are facing this day, help our hearts to be open so that Your peace can work its wonder.
