Let's all make it an awesome Christmas! ♥

"The moment one gives close attention to any thing,
 even a blade of grass,
it becomes a mysterious, awesome, indescribably magnificent world in itself."
--Henry Miller

So...just what are the  "awesome"  things on your holiday bucket list??
Here's my own random inventory of  awesome  things and events:

1. Getting a Christmas card from someone I thought I lost touch with ♥
(and mind you ~ not just an "e-card" but one through snail mail!)

Lovely Christmas card from friends from afar ~ Bryan & Susan Sammis of New Jersey, USA ♥♥

2. Plugging in my Christmas lights from last year and have them still working.
 (Surprise?! LOL)

3. When strangers wish you happy holidays
~ a supermarket cashier, a security guard in a bank, and other people you hardly know.

4. The sight of a beautifully-decorated Christmas tree.

Beautifully-decorated Christmas tree ~ just awesome!

(wife of hubby's U.P.classmate & good friend, Judge Emil Leachon) ♥

5. Finally finding the start of a stupid roll of scotch tape (while wrapping gifts!), heheh.

6. Driving around your village (ours is Capitolville) and around town (our Bacolod City government center, public plaza, etc.) to see all the Christmas lights.

7. When your Christmas tree gives the only light in the room.
(Just awesome!)

8. Trying on your new clothes (Christmas presents) as soon as you unwrap them.

9. When your guests bring gifts even after you told them not to.
(hehehe) ;-)

10. Successfully re-gifting a present to someone who wants it.

Our family received so many boxes of fresh fruits as gifts this Christmas ~ I was happy to share it with our friends and household staff. ♥

11. Eating anything with oil on it!
(LOL)

12. The sound of the cork popping.
(I just love the sound of it when hubby opens our fav'rite bottle of wine!) ♥

13. Counting the last 10 seconds of the year with your loved ones.

14. Lighting firecrackers and eating 'greasy'-but-delicious foods with your family.
(heheh)

15. Getting through it (the holidays).
<wink, wink>

More on my ever-growing list soon...!!!
Have an awesome holiday.
Much love,
SAL ♥
